It's only October, but it's not too early to think about Christmas cards.
If you plan to print a photo card for the holidays, you need to start the process now! Get your photos taken in November, have your cards printed later in the month or early December, and have them signed, addressed and delivered so that you're not writing out Christmas cards on Christmas Eve, while the rest of your family is having a hot toddy in front of the fireplace. (This has never happened to me, ahem, cough cough.) Not sure that you want to lug your kids out to the mall on a Saturday for a formal shoot at a portrait studio? Let me help you.
For $100, I will come to a location of your choice (D.C. metro area) and spend about 30 minutes with you to create the ultimate holiday card shot. You'll get approximately 6 hand-edited photos (but probably more), the high-resolution files with full copyright release to use at any photo printer, and 1 8x10 print of your choice. I will bring a few props for creative inspiration. You'll be more relaxed and comfortable, and it will make all the difference in your photos! You'll be the envy of all your friends and family, who will wish they hadn't used that cell phone picture from last summer vacation as their holiday card.
You can also use the photos as gifts for those parents or grandparents who have everything. Not sure what to get your mom? Instead of a Shake Weight, get her a framed picture of you and your family. She'll love it. Disclaimer: a framed photo will not help her get strong, sculpted arms like a Shake Weight.
For an additional fee I can also help you design and order your holiday cards, if you want to make it really easy for yourself. The only thing I won't do is lick the envelopes.
